For people to be able to enjoy a meal that was made with love and care. To bring families together through our food. Everything at Mica's kitchen is made with fresh local ingredients. Croissant dough I hand-rolled and chilled for 16-18 hours before using. Scones are the best on the West Coast. If you thought you didn't; like scones, try ours. Muffins are made with fresh seasonal fruits. Bread for our sandwiches is made fresh daily. All of the recipes are not really recipes. They are Mica adding a little of this, a little of that, and a lot of love.
I'm just a cook. And I like to bake. Food has been my passion, hobby, and profession for over 20 years. How cool is that? I get to do what I love every day! I'm the mother of seven, grandmother of 13. In October of 2019, I opened a small restaurant on Vashon Island, WA. I love what I do. I never expected to be in a pandemic my first year back in business. Let me cook from my heart to your table.
